Structure of Plywood
Plywood is made up of many thin layers of wood of the same size joined together. Veneer-coated plywood products are composed of two main parts: the core of the board and the surface of the veneer:
+ Core: This is a layer of veneer with a size of 1 - 3mm pressed together by high frequency pressing technology. Wood materials used are natural woods such as: eucalyptus, birch, oak, mahogany, teek, maple or ash (The types commonly used in Vietnam today are acacia wood, eucalyptus wood, because this tree is relatively easy to grow, easy to adapt to harsh weather, is grown a lot in the northern mountains, is often selected because they have suitable softness and large diameter, easy to slice and peel into small wood layers. Besides, their cost is not too high, ensuring the economy of the product.
+ Veneer surface: The surface layer that covers the top of the plywood with a size of about 0.3 - 0.6mm. You can choose from natural or industrial veneer surfaces depending on your needs.
